Before PAL entered the picture, the National (Youth) Symphony Orchestra of El Salvador faced complex, overlapping challenges:
🎭 Leadership transition strain
The orchestra had lost its Music Director after a long and meaningful tenure.
The Resident Conductor stepped up with dedication, but like anyone following a major leader, he struggled to gain full trust from the board and executive team — not because of his talent, but because the organization was in a natural but difficult adjustment period.
