At this FREE ACCESS “Pre-Production Meeting: Repertoire” attendees engage in the artistic decision-making process of an opera production, influencing the selection of the key stories, values, and cultures to be featured in Bloomington Opera Camp’s productions. They will shape the next years operas; and gain exclusive insight into the current production participating in a model of Performing Arts sustainability where every stakeholder MATTERS!

Who can participate?
This invitation is for everyone. Whether you sing (soloist or choir), play an instrument, dance, paint, design, create, or administrate art—or if you've never set foot in a theater but are simply curious—your perspective matters here. Ages 7 to 70+. Students, professionals, and complete beginners alike. No experience required. Because the performing arts belong to all of us, and the stories we tell are richer when everyone has a seat at the table. Come shape the future of opera with us.

During the official presentation of the opera to international communities, we'll open our call for the Cover Art. If you'd like to be considered, please attend the Pre-Production Meeting, where you'll learn about the opera and receive all the details on how to submit your work for this global opportunity.

Bloomington Opera Camp™
The Bloomington Opera Camp™ is your opportunity to be part of historic as a performer/artists/administrator. For two immersive weeks, artists of all ages (7 to 70+) and all skill levels—beginners, students, and professionals alike—come together to build a world-premiere opera from the ground up. Sing, paint, design, play in the orchestra, or work behind the scenes. No experience required. This summer's production, Seeking/Buscando El Dorado, will tour globally, and your name and contribution become part of its permanent legacy. Join a multigenerational community that proves the magic of opera belongs to everyone. Your voice matters here.
